S.A.V.E.D

S.A.V.E.D is a Christ centered drug and alcohol abuse program for chemically dependent individuals. It is comprised of individuals addicted to alcohol, illicit drugs and prescription medication . We believe that alcoholism, and drug dependency is an addiction that an individual cannot as a matter of his or her will power alone control his or her own chemical dependency.

We believe that the root cause of chemical dependency is sin:

Romans 7:18-19
v.18 I know I am rotten through and through so far as my old sinful nature is concerned. No matter which way I turn, I can’t make myself do right. I want to, but I can’t.
v.19  I want to do what is good, but I don’t. I don’t want to do what is wrong, but I do it anyway. (NLT)

We believe in personal recovery through Christ Jesus:

II Timothy 2:26
And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

To share our experience, strength and hope, we encourage Christian growth as we learn how to separate ourselves from the bitter and lonely trauma of chemical dependency and its effects on the family.

We are devoted to:

• Support and education of addiction.
• Reconciliation to God and Family.
• Provide encouragement to one another.
• Provide Christian fellowship.

Believers struggling with chemical dependency who, although committed Christians, may still be suffering in silence out of fear, shame, guilt, and lack of ability to trust all of which are characteristic responses to this family disease.

Non-Christians still addicted to alcohol, illicit drugs and prescription medication  who feel compelled to search out the true higher power “Jesus Christ”, attempting to identify Him, to come to know Him, and then to trust Him for healing power.

• All people are welcome saved and un-saved alike.
• Intended to replace or undermine any other Christian groups
